Sara and I stopped by the property this morning on our way out to do some Christmas shopping. After the cold and snow, we didn't actually anticipate any further near term movement. Perhaps we were even a little fearful that we'd be delayed for weeks.
We were surprised and excited to see much of foundation poured and the molding for the base of our home in large part in place. The goal all along was to get the foundation poured and set before a string of consistently difficult weather so that TJB can wrap up the structure and not worry further about our Minnesota winter as they continue to build our home.
This is a big step along the path, and we're happy to see that this part of it is complete before Christmas.
What a nice little gift in light of the recent weather.
